If its just dull random pain.. You're probably fine.. Just stretch good before you do anything.

If its sharp pain.. Stop and maybe get it checked.

I get both a lot but I don't take anything to it. Well since I have arthuritis on my kness, I can't let it affect me so I keep going. Sometimes I feel like my knees are gona give up but I keep going.

been lifting for a month now. ive added 50 pounds to my squat. 25 pounds to my bench, like 75 pound to my dead lift. i just started overhead presses last week but ive added 10 pounds so far. im getting real close to being able to finally do a pullup for the first time in my life.

im not really seeing any changes in my body other then in my legs they are really starting to grow. im sure the rest is also but i just cant tell. i need to start taking pics to compare.

any advice for me? 6'0 170 with some muscle tone. I wanna bulk up as much as i can before i go get a tattoo on my arm (not the main reason). but I'm getting a gut and my stamina is way down from where it was when i was 13-15 (18 now). I'm gonna start running everyday or 5 days a week haven't decided yet. i live in a hilly area of the city so that should help. I was gonna wake up at around 7 and run till like 11 or noon. and maybe lift afterwards. thoughts?

I went for a three mile jog this afternoon. It was rough, the cold just takes the breath right out of you.

This is false info.

Not to be argumentative, but I've had several different personal trainers all saying that running cardio isn't the key to weight loss. Muscle burns more calories and it's muscle building activity in the core that will burn the gut.

Running will help.. just not as much as muscle building.

Theres no such thing as spot reduction when it comes to fat, I'm sorry. It all starts in the kitchen and a combo of cardio and weight training will help reduce fat in total. You dont need to do weight training on the gut, you need to just do core work.

Diet
weight train first
cardio second
sleep

Thats the formula to losing the gut
