I'll kill a man for a burger king chicken tendercrisp. Last time i had that was last St. Pattys day.

I made a new batch of protein bars yesterday. They turned out better than the first batch i made a couple weeks ago.

whats your recipe?

1.5C Oats
1.5C Kashi GoLean cereal
.5C natural PB
.5C crushed raw/unsalted almonds
.5C dried cherries
5 scoops ON 100%Whey Double Chocolate
TBS vanilla extract
2 packets splenda sprinkled over the top after i spread the mix onto baking pan


Well i guess if you get technical its more of a meal replacement bar but all ingredients are natural, good fats/carbs/proteins. Oh and i mix it with 2%milk, i usually just add milk till i feel the consistency is good.

Doesnt taste the best but beats the hell out of spending $3 for a protein bar.

Im sure anyone interested can add or subtract many of the ingredients to make something more geared towards their taste.

Yeah man, let me know how they turn out. IDK if i mentioned that i bake them at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. Im having one as we speak and it tastes a lot better than i thought. Maybe i got a good mixture in this one. More dried fruit, the better, IMO.

I weigh around 193 right now. Doing a good job staying away from the pop/junk food.

I was at 205 last month.

Yeah hitting those weights hard will give you that Michael Jordan hunger.

I've never been much of a heavy lifter, even back in '05 when i was at my biggest. I never attempted maxs or anything short of what i thought i could lift at least 4 times.

I've never been much of a heavy lifter, even back in '05 when i was at my biggest. I never attempted maxs or anything short of what i thought i could lift at least 4 times.

i just started last month so my lifts are not heavy at all yet. its gonna take awhile for me. im basically starting from scratch, i have like no muscle at all. But im really getting to like lifting though, its alot of fucking fun.


but **** im so hungry.

Got on the treadmill yesterday & didn't feel right.

So, I got off quick. My right knee was aching bad.

If its just dull random pain.. You're probably fine.. Just stretch good before you do anything.

If its sharp pain.. Stop and maybe get it checked.
