Lil help please. Im downloading on of those 30for30 ESPN films, its in wmv format so VLC players plays it and its all good. but im downloading it for my dad, and i wanna burn it to a dvd or cd so he can watch it in his tv, but that shit takes for ever. Whats the easiest thing i can do in terms of burning it to a dvd or cd so that it plays in say a PS3?

IDK if you need an update for codecs to play it, but yeah, pretty much. CD or DVD in data mode.
If you want to test it, just throw it on a thumb drive.

touch screens are cool. its alot harder to text though. with my old blackberrie I was able to text while driving and never once have to look at my phone because i had the keys on lockdown

Sorry for the bump, but I thought it was better to ask here rather than start a new thread. Maybe a stupid question:
I have a Netgear Dual Rangemax Wireless Modem/Router that has worked great on the third story of my house. I want to bring it down a level for stronger access on the balcony/outside the garage (another story down). When I bring it down and plug it in, my laptops can connect to the network but it will not connect to the internet. I've eliminated the cordless telephone that was around there that I thought could have been causing interference. Still no dice.
The house was built in 2004. The jack works fine for the phone where I want to put the router. Should I purchase and install a new jack? Like, is it possible the jack isn't equipped to handle data? Sounds far-fetched to me, but I'm a moron. Or, do I have to notify my telephone company/ISP for them to come out and take a look/activate the jack?

Going to be getting an iPhone 4 when they go on clearance in a few weeks. I just hope my current cell phone's battery can make it. It's starting to lose power.

LOL most people do it on-line now. Through their carrier's website. It's a lot easier that way.
