I can't play this weekend, but I'm set for next weekend assuming the Bulls aren't playing.

Yeah, let's set a tentative date for now.

How about Sunday, May 3rd at Noon or 1pm??

Raise your hand if you are coming.

That should be good for me. Noon will probably be better than 1 for me. I will send out the email to the usual people and see who can make it. Last time we had 7 guys come and that was with three last minute cancellations.

I was one of them and I really apologize. I usually don't cancel it (remember I changed the B'Day day and moved 1 day earlier so I can play). But my 2 year old was sick and I had no choice. I thought he might feel better after I gave him medicine but didn't help much so I had to cancel it.

But I am good for May 3rd at Noon.

Where do you guys play I might be interested in playing. Also does it matter that I'm 20 years old?

20 years old huh??

Sorry, you need to wait 10 more years. You need to be 30 or above.

Just kidding.

Just shoot an email to Doug and he will add you to the mailing list and let you know the date and time.

im 20 also... anyone near or in beverly wanna play. i think its safe to assume that im pretty bad. in grade school i was 6th or 7th man on a team that my dad coached. wasnt really into sports in high school, though i did help my dad coach a little. last time i played was during the southside irish parade, i was the only one sober and my shot was way off but i got alot of rebounds somehow. im not tall, nor very physical and was a combo guard in grade school.

so im looking for people that are also not very good like me. hope someone wants to play.

I started up a new email list because I had before been just replying to different messages. My goal is to have included everyone who asked at one point to be on it, but if you didn't get an email (sent moments before this post), then you aren't on it, so just email me again requesting to be on it.

You're just bumping this because you were going long 3 all day. Apparently you found your grove, because by the end of the day you were a marksman from about 6-8 feet behind the 3 point line.

whatever DT, i've 'bumped' this just about every time we've played. And believe it or not, my shot has always been more accurate 4-5ft beyond the line than it is right on it. My motion just feels a lot more natural from there.

For whatever reason, during the last outing I was falling into some of my old bad habits. Which is directly linked to my endurance level so I guess the biggest thing is just slowly getting into better shape.

I was just trying to pat you on the back without patting you on the back.

You were a bad ass today. Given that we've only played 3-4 times now, I had no idea your shot was that good, since you were at a whole different level today relative to past days.

You keep shooting like that, and you'll challenge Fred for the Bullspodcasters.com marksman award.

We played about 2.5 hours before people started leaving. Then we played a game of 32 until one of us had a minor injury and decided it was better to call it a night.

I think I was out there for about 3 hours total.

I have no idea how many games we played, but probably 10+ I'd wager.

10+??? Shoot I think at that point my endurance advantage would be long gone. Then I would really suck because of my lack of height. Maybe I would still be able to outrun someone. I guess we'll see when the time comes.

I think almost everyone's endurance was long gone, I'd wager for all of us that it's the one time we get to play basketball every two weeks though, so because you don't do it often you tend to overdo it when you get the chance.

That being said, I don't think I ever walk off the basketball court until I have an obligation that i have to meet or until no one else is left to play. I'd probably play 4-5+ hours even if I could barely walk if other people stayed and I had no where to be.

Doug, I am just like you. I can play all day long as long as there is someone there to play or my wife calls me and yells at me to get back ;)

I was really horrible shooting today. As soon as I hurt my toe on my right hand in like 2nd game (half court, after the full court game), I was just horrible at shooting, I did do my best passing the ball though.

As soon as I hurt my toe, every shot I took, I thought I would make it in but since it was in the back of my mind that I hurt my toe, I was missing wide open shot, after shot.

I really really had lots of fun.

Oh yeah, after I came home, in about hour and half, I went to play volleyball for about 2 hours with my friends.

I am exhausted right now but I love sports so I don't say no.

Fola was just unbelievable today. He was really hot shooting the 3-ball today. Kush was awesome too from inside (with his Sam Perkins style).

If Fola didn't have that 1 or 2 games in the middle where he missed some shots, he would have been having a PERFECT day. Although, it seems like scored 100 points today.
