You have serious misconceptions about the human body, and how it functions. If you add muscle mass, you add force. Force moves your body. Adding muscle without adding fat is far more efficient that adding both. Stop.

You have no idea what you're talking about. At all.

LeBron added a lot of muscle mass in his upper body and that does slow you down when fat is not a factor at all (because there was not much fat on his body to begin with). That is the truth.

James is in his 9th year in the NBA so it is fair to say he has already hit his peak when it comes to sheer speed and explosiveness because of the mileage you go through. In addition to that, the guy is bulkier and has a harder time than he had before of handling the basketball and fitting through tight seems of a defense.

None of this is very difficult to understand.

About LBJ not being better PG than DRose because he is not a good ball handler and he can't break the defense easily when he is in a PG position. His only moves when he is in that position is passing to anyone near him,a jump shot after having failed to crossover, and a bad attempt to spin that most times ends with traveling.

I'm not arguing LeBron and Rose as PG's.

How is LBJ not a good ball handler?

Don't a lot of PG's pass the ball?

His Jumpshot is good....

Bad attempt to spin when most times he travels? uhh no.

It's the exact opposite of physical science would tell you. Where the hell do you make this shit up at?

Usain Bolt put on 20 pounds of muscle, now runs an 11.3

It depends where you gain the muscle. If you gain a lot of muscle in your lower body, in addition to your upper body, that helps your center of gravity.

And let's not forget that Bolt is not a basketball player whose muscle mass is going to inhibit from getting into open seems of a defense.

He added weight everywhere. He did both, and adding muscle mass doesn't make one slower. Stop arguing Rami.

OMG, center of gravity? Do you understand what makes your body move? Adding muscle (most of which is type II fibers IE fast twitch btw) doesn't make a person slower. This is even more so true with athletes, let alone one of the best athletes on the planet. Stop.

This picture clearly shows that Lebron is in need of help with his center of gravity....

If that is the case then fine. That doesn't change that LeBron James really is not as fast as he once was in his first seasons in the league. I am not his personal trainer, nor are you so we don't know how the muscle was added or how much it was.

Shocking that a guy who ages might possibly get slower.

Next up: Gray hair is caused by aging.

Or by reading Rami's posts.

To think, all those track coaches who had us lifting were just trying to slow us down.

I coulda been a contender had I not lifted!

Damn you coach!

I would have never done all those squats when playing basketball had I known it would just slow me down!

Damn you coach Kenny!

In my short, and unimpressive athletic life I have never heard a coach say that adding muscle mass is a detriment to playing well.
