Why is it funny?

1) Jay had a career high in pass attempts in his 11 sack year, wierd.

2) He was sacked 27 more times in 182 less pass attempts this past year compared to his 11 sack year in '08-'09.

3) But lets look at it per game since there are 16 games every single year!

Funny, funny.

I'm not into splitting hairs today. If you can't see what I'm talking about, then so be it.

Splitting what hairs? Payton didn't say anything others haven't said about Cutler, but since he didn't jump all over his leadership skills or whatever it is you guys want to trash him on today, then it is suddenly Payton just being nice and answering the correct way? Not buying it.

From me on Page 1.

"Name the last time any sitting NFL coach basically called out another player in an interview for sucking or not being any good. It doesn't happen. One of those "unwritten rules" of ethics or whatever when dealing with answering these questions. "

You can "not buy it" all you want to but it's the reality of the situation.

The 2008 year was the exception...no?

If you look at it on a per game basis which I just explained why is el retardo, did I not?

Then your explanation was bad...

I'm seeing it as the exception in any scenario

I am aghast at the stupidity.

gphat: Brady Anderson hit 51 HRs one year, and that was clearly an outlier compared to all his other seasons.

Midway Gay: But he had a career high 51 HRs that year...wierd.

Rory: Jack Meoff and Ben Dover both hit 51 HRs last year, they are equally good.

Midway Jay: But Jack Meoff hit 51 HRs in 51 at bats while Ben Dover hit 51 HRs in 510 at bats.

Rory: Nope, both hit 51 HRs.

Midway Jay: :dontsay:

Wow, it took a whole 3 pages for FirstTimer to break out his 'patented' gif. Maybe he's learning some self control.

Dave Toub wasn't employed by any team when he made his comments.

So you're wrong again

Frustrated NY Giants coach Tom Coughlin calls Eli Manning's recent play 'terrible' and 'foolish'

But with Manning now stuck in an inexplicable five-game slump and playing like the often dreadful pre-elite Eli in back-to-back losses to the Steelers and Bengals, the Giants’ annual second-half slump came with a new twist Monday: Coughlin is so frustrated that he used the words “terrible” and “foolish” in talking about Manning.

Even knowing how much of a pathetic fanboy you are, I don't believe that you believe that. You can't possibly.

So you're wrong again

He was employed by KC on Jan 15th, he talked to Waddle & Silvy on the 16th, so you're wrong, plus the Bears never fired him, so he was employed the entire time.

Which one of these situations is not like the other.

Again: ""Name the last time any sitting NFL coach basically called out another player in an interview for sucking or not being any good. It doesn't happen. One of those "unwritten rules" of ethics or whatever when dealing with answering these questions. "

This isn't tough to understand.

Coughlin criticizing his own QB =/= to Payton doign the same to a player that isn't his.

This site can't be THIS Special person can it?

So Toub is currently employed by both teams?

LOL at this. Toub, a ST's coordinator.

Plus let's look at Toub's comments:

"I think Cutler is a great asset. He's an extraordinary talent. He just ... there are certain aspects he just needs to get better at, and it's his leadership skills. And I think that's something he'll work on down the road and hopefully he gets better at that.""

Now line that up with my question: "Name the last time any sitting NFL coach basically called out another player in an interview for sucking or not being any good."

Again, you're both wrong..and Special person.
