Rate the last movie you watched

Just finished, I think 5/10 is a fair score...it was just meh to me. I also don't get what the narrative was.

BTW, may I add as a big fan of Jodie Foster films she was atrocious in this, definitely a phone in performance on her part. If she gave a better performance I'd up my score a bit, but nope...she was bad.

Was that a story about Hotel Artemis? Not really, it was the setting.

Was it a story about Jodie Foster's character? Sort of.

Was it a story about the people who use Hotel Artemis? Sort of.

Was it a story about social/economic inequality spurring on crime.... oddly yeah, sort of.

I honestly don't know what the overall narrative was intended to be.... in the end it seemed to wrap up with redemption of a few characters whom we knew so little that I wasn't sure why they needed redemption.

You’re a tough critic on the supernaturnal movies that’s for sure! I enjoyed it but I don’t see how there will be another season

Just started the bodyguard. This is intense and only a six episode season. If you like stuff like occupied, strike back, fauda you will like this

Same just happened here today, that's why I finally got up and watched it yesterday.


On the way out I snuck into Suspiria for a minute even though I already saw it on Halloween. There are numerous things to question, but one of the main ones for me was the choice of the main character. Instead of say, choosing the girl who was actually worried and investigating, they chose the girl who was chilling the entire movie without a care in the world. Odd for a horror movie.

Motivation and stakes were bad. In this movie she's trying to keep a computer program that can control all the nuclear bombs of the world out of the wrong hands (cliche), but I kid you not, not a single person in the movie ever threatens or even seemingly wants to use them. As far as I could tell, nothing bad would happen if she failed. There was no impending doom.

I went into the 2011 version expecting it to be about a badass girl based on the name, but the character ended up being sympathetic and mostly just sad, in a good way. In this one, the girl is way too resourceful and in control for you to even care about her. She's like Jason Bourne if he could also hack anything at ease, you never feel anything bad is going to happen to her. The actress is small and they somehow never use that to their advantage to make her seem vulnerable and outmatched.

Some individual scenes were interesting. But nothing connects overall, and you're gonna find it hard to care about what's going on. I don't like to reference Rotten Tomatoes, but the score on there is accurate.

Saw Overlord.....I'll give it a 6.5 / 10. Mainly for the action. I thought it was strange that the character " Boyce" got no luv. I mean this guy constantly played the "savior role" throughout and he never got so much as a hug or thank you

so I went ahead and saw it. She seemed to have a lot of hatred toward men as the result of her child abuse. I'm sure u noted where and how she was using her taser on the male characters.:cringe:
