No, I'm the type that compulsively has to see movies as soon as I can, down to the first showing. I see almost everything at 7PM on the Thursday it releases. I can't help it. Plus as someone who spends a good portion of my online time talking about movies, it's nice to be up to date.

I prefer to see movies on separate days, but if I don't see Bumblebee on the 8th I'll have to wait another 12 days knowing I could've seen it already, which is unbearable to me. And if I don't watch Spiderman that day, I'll have to wait another week. So I'm just doing them both. It's not ideal, but it's also not like I'm scheduling a comedy film to watch right after Schindler's List.

This will be my first double feature since 2016 when I watched The Witch and 10 Cloverfield Lane on the same day/night. It's not a habit, I don't think I've ever done it before then.
Spiderman starts at 2, and Bumblebee at 7 for the record. They're the only times available, I'm not picking them.

My girlfriend thinks I'm weird for thinking like this. That's how I always try to do it unless I have another commitment on a Thursday or unless there are multiple things coming out that Thursday so I can't get to them all.

I'm not a big conspiracy guy but this raises some interesting questions. I know it's a bit of a controversial subject but all I will say is: do your own homework.

The Duellists - 10/10
I've been wanting to see this movie for so long and finally did. What a movie!!! A must watch if you haven't.
The antagonist reminds me of some of the posters here... Just can't let shit go.

I'm not even sure what was going on in Spiderman, it looked like some silly Cartoon Network movie.

I really liked Bumblebee though. The writer sucked (as I already knew from her past work), but Hailee Stenfield and the director/Bumblebee were charming enough to make up for it. I'm a Hailee Stenfield fanboy, so it's hard for me to not like anything she's in.

Why do you say the writing sucked?

I thought Creed 2 was good...didn’t like it as much as the first but definitely a worthy sequel in my opinion. The ending kind of wrapped everything up nicely so I hope they just end it there and be done with it.

No, he has to fight Mr T/Clubber Lang's son (or daughter) next!

I really liked Spider-man Into the Spider Verse. The different animation style may not be for everyone. I think this one is probably my favorite animated movie of the year. I also really enjoyed the soundtrack on this.

I mostly liked The Mule, but it didn't have any real edge or weight to it, especially for a film with the setup that it has. I can understand if people thought it felt a little too light or inconsequential.

The Spectacular Now. 9/10. Felt very realistic. Big fan of Miles Teller too. Shailene Woodley is cute as **** in the movie.

Gran Torino took me as rather inconsequential too. I thought it was OK, but I know a lot peps liked it a lot.

Stallone is gonna turn "Creed" into a another "Rocky-type" franchise. Which from a business standpoint is smart. But I see your point

LOL....well it wasn't the type of movie where Eastwood was gonna be jumping around acting like "Dirty Harry". If that's the "edge" you mean.
Eastwood is 80+ yrs old. What type of real edge or weight were you looking for? Just curious.
