100% agreed.
Regardless of the veracity of this article, no star player is ever immune to criticism. I'll go further with that and say that no person, in general, is immune to criticism. Opinions, debate, and criticism are innate components of the human condition. Rose deserves a lot of criticism he has already heard. While I, personally, was fine with him not playing DESPITE being 100% healthy the final month and a half of the season, that did not sit well with the majority of the fan base. Add to that, he lets his brother Reggie run his mouth unchecked, with no denials of his comments coming from Derrick. I have always said "Never let a relative be your manager". Emotions too easily overtake reasoning when it comes to decision making, and it's readily apparent in a lot of Reggie's comments over the years.
Derrick's focus should be on his rehab, not on what Forman or Pax are doing right now. Why he would be upset about breaking up the core of players he's barely played with is dumbfounding. Not to mention, I find it highly unlikely that 1) this team would deliberately tank; 2) GarPax would make a big trade during the season causing a standings free fall; and 3) the team could suck that bad playing in the Leastern Conference, where it looks like a 35 win team could make the post season.
