now if you have a 10 game lead you probably give a shit load for him.

Yeah, I think that's what Dabs, jntg and I were saying...was that there will be other teams that give more than that package you proposed...I believe the disconnect was just that we thought you thought the package you proposed would be enough.

Silly me, I thought we were talking about Rizzo in this thread.

It was my fault, but I tried to bring it back to Rizzo.

I think Rizzo has legitimate power potential but we simply won't know until he is finally called up (whenever that is) and actually performs. Unlike most of you I'm willing to wait it out and my expectations aren't that high. That way if he does end up being a superstar you feel great about it, and if he's meh, then the baseline expectations won't surprise you.

I am still concerned that most of his power is by pulling the ball. I haven't watched every homerun, but the vast majority have been pulled. I honestly don't think I've seen an opposite field homerun from the guy. That is why I think the 30 homerun might be his peak.

I agree that most of us here have tempered expectations, but I think that is the minority position amongst the fanbase.

Kaplan: Tuesday seems like the day for his call-up. That's 3 now ... Oleny, Sully and now Kap.

That's what I thought. So where does LeHair go? Or does he get benched for Rizzo?

LaHair goes to RF I believe. Then whenever they figure out what to do with Soriano they'll move him to LF and put a more competent RF out there.

Makes sense. I think LaHair will be good in the future for the Cubs. Cubs really need someone to offer something for Soriano.

LaHair will be good as long as he keeps doing what he's doing and stays cheap.
