Bickell shouldnt be the answer, but as you say, without any help from our big names I dont see why Q dont play a guy that actualy have some impact.

He hasn't been good in the first 2 games. His sloooooow wheels aren't doing anything against these Bruins. Im personally not concerned about Bickells minutes. Toews and Kane have been pathetic. Bigger issue thats going to cost the Hawks this series.

Can't be overly positive as a Hawks fan right now with those two not doing anything. Bruins are not the last 3 teams we have faced..they are actually really good..if not a great team.

It's funny how much the announcers hate him. I would say they will change their tune when he is our Olympic goalie

but then I remembered that CBC doesn't carry the Olympics

Well, the Hawks can eat shit. Just awful. Only one who can come out of that game without the smell of shit is Crawford. The rest of the gangs were just listless pieces of shit, no sense of urgency. I guess it will take 3-1 deficit to get them going as I don't see them taking a game in Boston if this is all they got. I don't care if Hossa was out or what injuries, if any, Toews or Seabrook are playing with, these are the final games of the season and you leave everything on the ice. No excuses.

Pretty sure Karpotsev is dead, but they may not even take Bolland for him.

Uptown baby!
Crawford as the best Hawk tonight is the reason this score isn't worse but Toews did hustle this game IMO---he just doesn't have any scoring ability or confidence and I don't expect to see it make a return anytime soon. Hated seeing him with that hand in a towel of ice. {{shivers}}

Let us all now never underestimate how much Hossa at least helps this team's chances even if he has turnovery-games or bad passing games or goes on mini-schneids shall we? It all averages out WAY on the positive when everything is said and done. He's fucking invaluable on 200 ft of ice and in the long run.

Bolland---Stan will get pretty much nothing for him in the trade at this point except cap relief.

The only positive about this series so far is that Bickell has as predicted regressed to the mean of his actual game and has made himself much cheaper to negotiate with and perhaps re-sign than he was two weeks ago.

How do you know he regressed when you're playing 3 minutes a period? WTF

And didn't he hit the pipe on Rask with 45 seconds left? Best shot we had all night.

Good thing is...it's a 2-1 series deficit

Had a few good chances in the third, missed the net and hit a post.

Forget about it...and get ready for Wednesday

3 stars of the game -

1. Bolland - helluva game Davey boy

2. Toews - Captain Seriously Invisible. .421 on faceoffs...and 1 hit. Smallest 6'2 210lb guy in the league

3. Hossa - He must have had a PTO day he needed to use or lose

They were shorthanded for 8min in a 20min span - of course Bickell's ice time would go down
