If the Bears fail Caleb Williams, there is a 99% chance that they will be boycotted by every top QB prospect for at least the next decade, and I wouldn't blame them at all for it.

Most top college QB prospects don't really have that opportunity. Even Caleb understood that waiting it out in college for 10 million NIL deals was pretty asinine to the 10s of millions that a successful NFL QB could get, if they can even get 10 million.

Even a failed #1 pick can be successful and get 100s of millions with a new team, like Baker Mayfield, 35 and 45 million in 2025 and 2026.

For the Bears, it would make a lot of people feel better if Caleb somehow starts playing closer to the Caleb of the winning streak, win or lose, than the hot garbage that has been the post-bye week Caleb.

Rookies throwing INT as they adjust to the speed of the NFL is pretty common, not having any control of where you are throwing is not.

Bagent has only started 4 games, Bo Nix had 1Td and 4INT his first 4 games and has since started to adjust to the speed and playing at a pretty high level.

Who knows if Bagent will play better or not. CW has played like total garbage so him sitting for a game or more might actually help him

Nix and the penix had the fastest times to get the ball out it will be interesting how they fare, caleb and jayden were about the same but jayden takes off running like a bat out of hell, caleb does better in games where he runs. I made a comment about considering Nix and everyone was laughing and he almost just beat KC....dude sees it and gets the ball out really fast which is the name of the game....caleb suddenly taking 4 and 5 seconds needs a perfect Oline
