Do you mean those top QB prospects who are already successful in the NFL and are looking for 60+ million dollar-a-year contracts?If the Bears fail Caleb Williams, there is a 99% chance that they will be boycotted by every top QB prospect for at least the next decade, and I wouldn't blame them at all for it.
I am ok with that.
Most top college QB prospects don't really have that opportunity. Even Caleb understood that waiting it out in college for 10 million NIL deals was pretty asinine to the 10s of millions that a successful NFL QB could get, if they can even get 10 million.
Even a failed #1 pick can be successful and get 100s of millions with a new team, like Baker Mayfield, 35 and 45 million in 2025 and 2026.
