They see him in practice every day. They know he sucks, and probably have known for a while. They just don’t want to flush an entire football season down the drain because the Bears don’t want to admit they got absolutely conned.

At what point does being the most inaccurate QB in recent NFL history and being outplayed by every other rookie QB despite having an alleged "playoff ready" team come in to play? If Caleb or his fanboys cannot take legitimate criticism for poor on-field performance, then that is just pretending that this will all work out somehow. Caleb's play is fundamentally terrible at this point.

I'm talking about team dynamics 10 weeks into a rookie QB that you spent the #1 pick on. You either get rid of the players who have no faith in the QB or you burn that #1 pick and get rid of the QB. Since nobody would burn a #1 pick that fast without personality issues the move is obvious.
The players aren't working because they don't believe in the QB, which means the QB can't work because he doesn't have players. Someone needs to go or nothing is going to work.
It's actually a sign that Flus has completely lost the locker room and everyone needs to go and we start another rebuild. Because Bears Footbaw.

unless the vet is Allen then nobody is leaving. CW will get plently of time to show he belongs and they are not getting rid of DJ moore (if he was the one who complained) DJ did not go public with wanting to bench CW, he went to Flus because he wants to win and changing the QB would probably help that.

Rookies throwing INT as they adjust to the speed of the NFL is pretty common, not having any control of where you are throwing is not.
Bagent has only started 4 games, Bo Nix had 1Td and 4INT his first 4 games and has since started to adjust to the speed and playing at a pretty high level.
Who knows if Bagent will play better or not. CW has played like total garbage so him sitting for a game or more might actually help him

My guess is Bagent would look much better than Caleb, at least how Caleb has looked the last 3 games (which isn’t a huge accomplishment). Thing is if our new play caller doesn’t change things up significantly in a few short days and Caleb keeps doing the shit he is doing the NFL record of 12 sacks in a game is in reach for the Packers. They lead the league is sacks, New England had 9 and they are awful. Do the math, not hard to figure out if its the same old shit from the offense and quarterback.

Although I agree, I see the Packers 19th in sacks, Bears 13th and the Giants 1st. Maybe I'm looking at this wrong.

Caleb was a want more than a need. If the 2023/24 Panthers finished with the 8th pick-which went to the Bears, would the Bears still have gone qb in round one?

Caleb has played awful. The coaching, play-calling has been awful. The OL and certain skill guys on offense have played awful. It’s not an ideal situation.
Caleb needs to learn from this. Keep fighting through it. If he gets permanently “ruined” due to all this, well then he doesn’t have the mental fortitude to make it anyway. A lot of elite QBs had bad first years (Peyton for example).
It’s like what Viper said in Top Gun about Maverick after Goose died. “Keep sending him up.”
