Have you even watched any Flyers games? I've watched all 17 of them and use something called common sense and the eye test.



Just like people say Hossa hasn't been good... LOL! You can't JUST look at stats especially for DEFENDERS.



Hands down best playoff performer since the lock out and it's not even close.



By your logic, Duncan Keith hasn't been impressive:

Neither has Brent Seabrook with his measly 9 points nor any member of the Blackhawks defense... so does that mean our defense completely sucks? Come on man, you know better than this.

Pronger is a good dman, a bit slow, but a good dman. I just hate him because he is also good at the dirty hit.

14 points in 17 games by their big D man. Not shabby.

I think the Hawks had better opponents in the post season. Nashville may have been a #7-- but they earned every right to be in the post season.

I can't see Leighton posting 3 SO-- let alone one against the Hawks.

Don't know what to expect from this series, paper status show hawks should win, but my conspiracist side wishes that the NHL will not want this to be a cinderella team that came from elimantion to win it all. Go HAWKS!!!

I would never underestimate Pronger. He is a very good D-man. He knows how to lay out the punishment. He is one of those players that I dislike because he is that good. That being said, he is getting older and he does have to catch our boys to hit them. I am sure he and Buff will be a focus in this series. Hopefully he will have his hands full with Buff and not have the freedom to go headhunting as he pleases.

I hate to quote myself, but I didn't even get one good suggestion. All I could think of was stuffing it with paper and hanging it from a noose but I live in a cul'de'sac (sp?) so traffic is minimal.

Offensively, the Flyers look pretty formidable with Carter back, but I'm definitely not buying their defense until I see them against the Hawks. Philadelphia has just ousted the teams that finished 19th, 30th and 26th in offense during the regular season. Think Michael Leighton would have been able to shut out the Capitals or Penguins three times in five games? Me neither.



We'll also see how their vauted top four feel after getting continually pounded by the likes of by Buff, Brouwer, Eager and Ladd every time they go for a loose puck. The Canadiens were virtually allergic to aggressive forechecking.

I don't see any reason that he would. Those have pretty much been the lines for two series now. Philly may mix it up as well, but this is what these teams finished out their Conference Finals with.
