I'd like to see the "speed" of Bolland/Skille/Stalberg together

Viktor and Jack seem to have some good chemistry so far....all this is going change through time anyway. Hell, who would have guessed Pirri being the first call up forward and have played already

NO McCreary was supposed to retire. He stayed one more year.

He doesn't like me. For the world I can't understand why.

Fraser did retire.

Why would an NHL official not like you?

Greiss cleared already and I can't see why Stan didn't claim him. The Hawks goalie pipeline is awfully thin and Greiss would probably the best one in the system.

Yea. I know, right!

Game one WCF's two years ago in Detroit. I'm down stairs at the Shit Hole in Detroit and the area is right next to the Refs locker room. I swear I bit my lip as McCreary walked out of the locker room right past me. He goes about 10ft and must have noticed me out of the corner of his eye, turns around and says, and I quote, "Shouldn't you be in Chicago telling me to **** OFF".

I replied, I can almost do that here too.

The other day Kozari was the official. I nicely walked over and thanked him for being in Mid Season form already. He tossed the frozen game puck at me he had just picked up off the ice.

I feel the love. I really do!

I know for fact Frazer always loved when I pointed out his Tupee. It's the best damn hair piece in all of sports. So good it must have gotten in the way of his eye sight, which made him SUCK WORSE!!!

I'm not sure how that works. Maybe the Hawks couldn't claim him for some reason.

Damn. . .he JUST cleared a little bit ago! What was Stan thinking not picking him up AND fucking with Wilson? That's what you call a ready-made two-fer! Because really, Toivenen and Simpson?

It's like nobody was watching the waiver wires. :x

AFAIK, they go by last years standings until Nov 1 on the order teams can make a claim, so in that case the Hawks would be the last one. I was surprised that Greiss cleared as he seems to be an above average prospect.

Trust, you're not the first on these forums to abbreviate my user name for the salacious yuk-yuks. And it wasn't because of a lack of sleep!

Sorry, the arm is up and hammer is just getting up after the hit. Hasn't been jumped by anyone yet.

Then you have the view from the other side of the ice in which the arm was up and Hammer hasn't even gone to the ice yet.

Ok, here is what I don't understand, if Hammer nailed him and it looks clear to me that he was playing the puck, never left his skate, never has done this before. then why would he be suspended. Wouldn't a five min major and getting kicked out of the game be enough. Again I did not watch the game I'm going of of highlights and other's opinions.

We'll find out soon enough, Hammer is on the phone with Colin Campbell as we speak.

My favorite teams
 1. Portland Timbers
 1. Chicago Blackhawks
I'd change Skille and Pisani.

Stahlberg needs to show me some Hands, SOON! He had at least three chances last night created by his awesome speed. Now FINISH!
I agree..Bickell and Skille are playing like men possessed (I'd like to think in Bickell's case he's trying to show that they wewre wrong for leaving him of the cup).

One of the dumbest things ever posted here.  Three games into the season and you're throwing Seabrook under the bus, forgetting that without him, Duncan Keith is nowhere near the player he is.

Here's a clue for you and everyone else that is showing even a modicum of panic:  IT'S THE FUCKING REGULAR SEASON AND IT DOESN'T MEAN SHIT!!!!

All that matters is how the team performs in the playoffs.  Once you win a championship, expectations are elevated.  The regular season is nothing but a really long preseason for the postseason.

Seabrook is a top two defenseman, and will be paid accordingly.
LOL.

"Dumbest things ever posted here???" You might want to slow down and read my post carefully. I had two points in my post. One I commented in response to the person I quoted about his play this season and it has been bad. It is only three games and I've been posting that in various other threads about in which people are flipping out about Turco and such. So don't paint me with that brush. My other point was a bigger picture point beyond this season and not relative to these three games. My opinion is that Seabrook is a very good d-man and I want him on this team long term. He however is not a number one d-man and shouldn't be paid as such. My point was if he hits UFA status someone will pay him number one money and the Hawks

will be up against the cap yet again. Thus having to make a tough decision.

Preaching to the quire. Q is stubborn. Not to mention Kopecky has always held Hossa Jock. They do everything on the road together so I only assume that works for in Chicago too.

And the way Hossa is playing if that keeps him Happy, please DON'T **** with it!!!
Yeah but come on man, Hossa is a professional. If he sees that as some kind of personal slight, well then I guess he isn't as much a pro as I thought he was to get upset over something silly like that. It's time to see what guys like Skille can do. His place isn't the fourth line. It's obvious watching him. It wouldn't be demoting Kopecky as much as it would be putting in a situation where he is more likely to help the team. I like him in that grinder role, that's where he excels, that's where he can really help make up for loss of players like Ladd, being that defensive, back checking forward that will battle in the corners. First line/second line is as much a waste of a position spot to Kopecky as Skille is to the fourth line.

I predict the Hawks will give him another mil more than he is making now and still be no where near the Cap. They will have at least 3 million left.
