I hate to say it, but this kinda stuff is going to convince some ppl to take their chances.

If ppl think they're going to get covid anyway they may steer clear of an "experimental vaccine."

...and of course it's a confirmation bias for ppl who weren't going to get it anyway.

That is the other part of it. You can still get Covid but if you’re fully vaccinated, the outcomes tend to be considerably more positive.

I was vaccinated but I do not recommend anyone else getting the vaccine. Ever since I got it, i haven't been the same. At all.

Got the vaccine, went out with some of my coworkers in the "fabulous" area of Atlanta that night. Ending up blacking out because of the vaccine. I ended up waking up with a bunch of dudes that I didn't know. Now my butthole hurts and I have these weird bumps in my genital area. All because of the vaccine.
I'm going to report this to Fox News.

Many vaccines are forced in the military, as well as required for kids to attend daycares and schools (state based). Guess parents can keep their kids outta schools/daycares and people could not join the military to prevent being forced.

If the parents are anti vaccine, they certainly are not gonna get their minors to do so.

I talked to a guy a couple months ago, he said the likelihood of getting COVID post-vaccination is higher than without the vaccine. logic? you only have a 1% chance of getting COVID without the vaccine; the vaccine is only "93% effective", so by this rationale you're more likely to get COVID as the "chance" with vaccine is 7%.

Didnt get it myself until after I got vaxd. Which is crazy because before vax my wife tested positive for it (she wasnt vaxd at the time and only felt a lil under the weather for about a day) a day after I left for a 2 month TDY. I was tested multiple times during that TDY and never hit a positive result. Got vaxd a couple months after I finished that TDY and about a month after I was vaxd (Pfizer) I tested positive and had some pretty nasty symptoms.

Obviously that doesnt speak for the larger group but in my situation it was the opposite of what I would have expected.

Judging from your reaction, it may have been very advantageous that you got the shot. It's a weird bug. Just glad you're both heathy now.
