I bet those are just placeholder prices. The $60 always seemed insane to me. Especially since most of mine don't last more than a year before something breaks.

It looks to be the price they are selling them. Math works out too in the bundles. They also seemed to have dropped the base price on the PS3 controllers to 55.

I guess it is. They do have for pre-order at that price. That's a relief. Although, I still think too expensive.

I am so close to jumping on board for so many reasons, If it wasn't ubisoft I'd be getting in line already.

Just remember if it is successful they will have yearly releases until they run the IP into the ground and then five years later bring it back and it will still suck

Yeah, I will most likely be on board simply because it is based in Chicago and I love when games are based in cities I live(d) in. Like Fallout 3, the DC area and such, they had it down pat, even the train system. It added enjoyment.

But I will get the game, be stoked for about 3 days, then some puzzle will pop up that will piss me off and I will quit the game...

But I will still get it.

The problem I have with it is that I that it has been praised for it's detail of the downtown area, and it looks beautiful, but I know down, especially certain areas too well, and I've already seen things that are slightly off and I"m worried that it will actually take away from the enjoyment of it.

They said in that interview that they had to change parts of it to help with gameplay flow. You can't really expect them to have it perfect. Looks pretty impressive none-the-less. I think the fact that a friend can jump in from a phone or ipad to help out is pretty cool, though I don't really have enough gamer friends to make that worthwhile.

Exactly.... it's so strange to me how blown out multiplayer is becoming. Who really has that many friends just waiting to jump into a game, not to mention they too also had to have purchased that game. The features only work if you create a new group of random friends for each game you play, and it just gets to be too much work.

That's the number one thing that I hope that the new systems track. "Friends" on your list will be shown with the icons of games you played with them. For fast identification of how I know them. I've played games for like a month straight with some guy my friend and I met one night and then we stopped playing that game, but his name is still on my list somewhere. I might not even have the game anymore.

The fact they mentioned GTA is actually scaring me because I made it 15 minutes into that game before I almost broke it...

So I have to meet people, and call them from time to time so that they think I like them so if I need them for something they will like me enough to do it and all this on the way to work?

So... This is Real Life? I hate playing this game as it is, I sure aint gonna use valuable gaming time to play Real Life!

Most of the GTA stuff you guys just mentioned, I have no clue about. I haven't played that game in a few years. But I hear GTA5 is going to be really cool. Is this true?

Or are you guys ripping on it. I seriously don't know.

When I swap out the hard drives, do I have to have the latest firmware ready on a usb stick or something? Or when I boot up can I download the latest firmware?

Great, that's what I thought. I had looked up a video on how to swap it out and they said I needed the latest version, but I couldn't tell if that was only to upgrade to a new version, or if it did a version check every time you put a new HD in.

The last one I played through was um... Vice City?

And I can certainly see why the game ends up on the Best Of lists. But to me, it is just too much. Like Saint's Row is more enjoyable for me than GTA.
