I have it but have barely gotten to play it. Played 5 minutes on campaign mode and it froze. Before I had a chance to play anymore the Hawks game was on and then I've been on a business trip since. It was good for those 5 minutes, lol.

They've finally added a test range for testing weapons and vehicles. Now I can finally learn to really fly the copters and jets. They also have made the progression of the weapon upgrades better. I really can't wait to get into the game more.

Thats one thing that always deterred me from jumping in the air vehicles, I didn't want to be the dick, "learning" to use one of the few air vehicles available.

I talked to a 10-12 year old boy at a wedding in NC last weekend and he was really really excited to get his hands on it because he loves battlefield3 so much... I just ... man... Am I wrong?

Think Call of Duty, but made by EA and has vehicles.

To me, I think of Call of Duty and BF3 as two different types of games. I don't know why but maybe it's just the stigma around them. To me CoD is more like Brosef buddy team amazing kill... where it's like more Borderlands... and Battlefield seems to try to be more realistic and like what maybe arma? So they do the exact same thing, but vere in a different direction audience wise? Maybe I'm losing my mind.

If you want to use CoD and Arma as the two extremes, BF is in the middle but leans towards CoD IMO

Played through Arkham Origins, main quest line is pretty short but they did a pretty good job with the side missions, however I'm almost done with them as well. Single player this seems to be the shortest batman of the 3 but pretty fun nonetheless.

AC3 was the last one I will play. They decided to make it a watered down yearly release.

I HATE Call of Duty for doing that. Before only sports games were yearly releases, now after COD decides to release 2 COD games a year, every other company wants to follow suit.

It was like 7 years between BF2 and BF3, now they are just going to be releasing one every year apparently?

It's been 2 years between BF3 and BF4, but they're making a boatload off of the BF Premium membership and map packs

Or the days on PC where you bought the game and the community created new levels and mods that kept the game fresh for years. There were some killer BF2 mods back in the day. Project Reality being one of them.

Help... I'm torn. I've wanted a Vita for a while now but the price is just too high. RadioShack has an online sale for 169 after $10 of tax (159 originally) and it's the older model the OLED one which is a much better screen, but they are dumping all the old ones because i think the new ones are going to roll out from Japan soon and I can't decide if I should buy it or wait? The new one is 20% thinner, no big deal they are already pretty thin so it's not too much. 15% lighter which is good, but again at that small a machine it's not that different. The articles do say it feels smaller and lighter, but the big thing is the battery life seems to have gone way up, but it's cause they put a LCD in it instead of the OLED. I really want the OLED but I want the performance of the new one... any thoughts? it's $30 cheaper on RS.com than amazon right now. That's what 15% off which is a big deal because they don't really go that cheap just massive price cuts at designated times. I can't tell if they are lowering the price on these because they are rolling out the new ones so they'll keep going down, or if they are lowing the price on these because they are going to roll out the news ones at a reduced price. The are selling the new model in japan for about $215 so I bet that is what they will try here but it will probably be $200 even since that is what they cut the old model to?

I've wanted one for a while so I can do gaming in bed and in the living room without taking up the TV... I've had PS+ for over a year and a shit ton of games just sitting there in my account that I bought for free but don't get to use. The price is great I just fear the unknown and it's pissing me off.

Ah gotcha! Yeah, I hear ya... Personally? I would feel pretty good about getting the Vita since PS4 has been marketed with Vita right by its side so you know they wont want to mess that up. For me, it is on my radar with bonus time this year, but I will wait, even if that means I need to pay more.

Cool function of the vita with the ps4 is that you'll be able to play a ps4 game on your vita if you're on the same wifi. This would be great for someone like me who often can't play cus it's taking up the TV the kids or wife wants to use.
