well i have been in the tunnel a few times to meet some of the players after games. I cant tell you this, if MCD is talking to pops they are either doing 1 or 2 things. 1) prepping for a trade 2) talking to his father to get kane to behave. If any of you know the details of kane and his dad, he is an overbearring father and the only father at games ushering his kid out as quick as possible. his father is very much in control of kane when he is somewhat close to him. All i know is his father is furious right now. it seems from countless encounters with both of them with my own eyes up close and personal his father is living through kane.

yeah its pretty cool. you get to see who are the nice players and who are the dickheads.
see with baseball guys out there dont look at that big but when you meet them they are huge, even juan uribe looked like he was a body builder up close, but when you meet hockey players in dress shirts and ties they look like pussies. if you knew nothing about hockey and one of the nhl players (exceptions to some) you saw at a bar and they were talking shit you wouldnt be scared.
the nicest player i met so far was holmstrom.

Who honestly cares if he's a douchebag off the ice?
He's an athlete, not a choir boy. If him being a douchebag off the ice affects his play, then trade him. This event in Madison could very well have done that.
