I think it's only fair that we ban him for a day if the Hawks win the series ;-)

That was a dumbass penalty by Hossa but the best PK in the Playoffs should have actually tried to ya know? KILL the penalty instead of just standing there admiring their Gm. 6 success.

Their goal was on a 4 on 4, though Oduya thought he was killing a penalty, too. :)

After the Hawks went down 2-1 I saw some Hawks quitting, some not. In the 3rd I think, love him or hate him, Zeus' goal may be the biggest of the year as it ignited us.

We have to stop seeing players quitting when things get tough...and we sure as hell have a problem with selfish play. Sharp and Hossa with IDIOTIC penalties late while we are trying to kill clock were terrible.

So much potential in this team...our worst enemy is ourselves.

The PS was totally legit. Anyone complaining about it can eat shit.

... and we still would have gotten a PP at minimum. But PS was the right call, Frolik had a breakaway and was denied a scoring chance when he was slashed across his gloves while preparing to shoot.

I thought there were rumours flying around during the Wild series that Bickell had already resigned and took a discount because he not only wanted to stay in Chicago but also said it was the best move for the longevity of his career? Guess those rumours were just that..rumours.

someone on this board is going to get hurt real bad.

Espo..agree in the Handzus goal. That goal was like slow motion in time.....held my breath as he stood there infront of howard bitting my fingers waiting for the shot. Was a nice finish.

By the way, I'll be much more confident if Johnny fucking Oduya is not leading the Hawks' D in icetime on Wednesday. He and Hammer are NOT a top pairing.Pretty fortunate that Crawford bailed them out, several times. Please, Q, ride your top horses in game 7. 30 minutes for Keith and Seabrook both. Thank you.

Oduya batting the puck down with his stick - when he could've let the puck land in the corner - and giving Datsyuk an unimpeded scoring chance. What the **** was he thinking/doing?

Agreed but the problem now is WHO would take him? The fairly substantial injury history, the volatility, the inconsistent play, coming off his shittiest personal reg season that contained injury time lost and so far no Playoffs heroics, the $3.25 mil 1 yr still left on his contract? My God, he's played himself down the lines from 2nd to 4th, he can't even be trusted to shut down other team's 4th lines now let alone being even a shadow of the Playoffs Slayer "Best 3rd Line Shut Down Centre in the NHL" reputation he's been coasting on. When he did what was expected of him on the 3rd and shut down other teams' top lines I didn't give a shit that he was being over-paid for a 3rd liner---now that he can't play 2C or do his former 3C job well or even just do hockey well period he's just over-paid space. He's been given EVERY opportunity and then some to succeed on this team. Last off-season would have been the ideal time to still use the smoke and mirrors of his reputation to deal him for something.

We can discuss this after the season. I don't want to depress myself after a nice game six win. :)

the one year left on his contract would make it easier than if there were multiple. I think hes tradeable.even though it will be tricky.

Tallon Cat! But of course!

Maybe Stan can get him to take Bolland at his full salary (since ya know, he's one who gave him the salary) to hang out with The Ginger ( still :( BTW) and Versteeg and Kopecky and Skille if he also just tosses in Beach and Lalonde since they're both RFA this summer and I don't expect the Hawks to re-sign them.

When Zeus scored it stunned the Wings and Howard, and I knew we could win the game, but more importantly the Wings knew it.

We should have coasted 4-2 or added an empty netter if we'd had 5 players on the ice instead of scrambling around the last 61 seconds.

Oduya's icing the puck was another idiot play. Keep your head in the fucking game, dude!

Ayone else think that after Toews batted the puck down the ice that the Wings player slowed down and icing should have been waved off?
