no man. I mean it sits at another table in the middle; literally most of the pizzas sit there. And you have to wait til waitress comes back to grab you a slice.
Pizzas a few feet away, but the unspoken rule is the waitress needs to come back and serve you another slice. It's kinda fuked up

Yeah dat seems annoying...

Yeah, Harris is the most popular in town and very good. Fields of Pizza is a newer place and is as good or better, IMO. Then you have places like Franks, Bad Boyz, Clint's, etc all serving similar stuff.

Are those places relatively new? I haven't lived in the QC since spring of '04. I only ever really had Harris because I lived like 2 blocks from them. It was one of the best and really convenient to me

For 10 years I spent 3 nights a week in the Quad Cities. I'm actually the record holder at a hotel there with over 400 nights stayed. It's now called the Ramada in Bettendorf

Franks is the original in town, located in downtown Silvis. Bit of a dump that only takes cash but has been in business for like 50 years or something. All the other places like Harris and Clint's basically took the recipe and started their own places.

Fields is newer, and Bad Boyz might be after 04 as well. Clint's had been around a while. It's located in Sammy G Bowling Alley on the Avenue in Moline.

Their stuff is a little hit or miss sometimes and they're more expensive than the other places. They do have other good stuff like fried chicken, pasta and Italian beef/sausage sandwiches.

I just can not get into Chicago style pizza. Ive tried and it just does nothing for me.

Which Chicago Style? Theres like 20 different kinds. LOL Deep dish is just ONE of them, and this is what outsiders consider Chicago style, but really, Deep dish IN Chicago, is not all that common.

You guys must just be talking about Chicago style pizza, which of course is different. Pizza originated in New York, and the best places are still in New York and New Jersey. Or course there are so many places some of them just suck. It should be named something else, because what you have out there is not pizza, not saying it isn't good, it's just different than actual pizza.

I have the misfortune of living in NJ, and the food here is complete shit. Don't get me started on their shitty cardboard, flavorless crust (that's burnt) pizza with trace amounts of sauce (that's burnt) and rubbery cheese.

Deep dish.

Lots of different deep dish pizzas. But this is Chicago Style Deep Dish. Chicago Style Pizza still includes a lot more than deep dish.

Yeah, that must be it. Not that I just think it's not that good of a pizza.
