His other numbers are underwhelming. He'll suffer from the era. Konerko gets in first if either. He's got better numbers outside of homers and I believe liked more. Like I said its close

Best chance for Konerko is that he played in his prime in the steroid era, and while he did fall short of 500, he did clean.

Maybe being good enough while being clean will get him, but I wouldn't count on it.

Orioles rotation has accounted for fewest IP (543-1/3) of any winning team in MLB this year; that's why they're open to adding a starter.


I don't know, maybe Danks if we cough up cash? Wieters is a free agent after next season and will probably want a big payday. I know he's out for the year, but I wonder if we could get him via trade & extend him.

Good thinking. I am starting to warm up also to the idea of trading Alexi. I think that the Yanks would be pretty warm for him next season.

I'd like to see it, but I won't hold my breath. Being clean and coming up just short hasn't helped McGriff.

again for the 100th time. LHd stick that hits hrs and gets OBP. the lineup needs that and needed that.

there are a few teams asking about him. Yankees were one of them. yanks are buyers right now so id imagine with CC and tanaka going down the yanks will probably take on his salary and give a spec since he is pitching well and is affordable compared to the market and is under control.
