Probably because a quick google search doesn't provide that info? If it does, then please provide info which shows the Cubs farm system rankings from 2002-2011.

Thanks!

Wasnt it provided to you just a few posts up by posters? Like Jay Z says I got 99 problems but a bitch aint one. Good day. Keep your trolling going. One day, someone will listen to you. And gosh darnit people will like you.

Look at the rankings from when Hendry took over..they get progressively worse..bottom out as nearly the worst in the MLB, bounce back for one season and start falling again.

Great stuff.

A huge part of the reason that the Cubs minor league system when Hendry took over as GM was because prior to him being the GM he was in charge of the minor league system.

So the Cubs farm system started the 2000's near the top, fluctuated towards the middle and then bottom and then rose again.

You know, pretty much like every other team's farm systems change over time.

It is so ridiculous that people think it is reasonable to have a top 10 farm system year in and year out.

I'd love to see if ANY organization was able to stay in the top 10 for a decade straight. Maybe someone who has a subscription to Baseball America can check that.

If by "fluctuated" you mean steadily dropped...rose for a year then started dropping again....then yeah sure..it "fluctuated"

Perhaps history has shown us Hendry got FAR too much credit for that minor league system..............

Still don't have 2003 or 2002 ranking. Thought you had this info at your fingertips via "quick google search"...guess not. Sorry to keep prodding you for info that you claimed you had but never really did. Thanks for playing a semantical argument throughout this thread. That makes you unique here at CCS.

Glad to have you aboard!

The world needs ditch diggers to buddy! Not everyone can be computer savy by typing in Cubs farm system rankings from 2002 on. I felt like the weight of Rosie O Donnell is off my shoulder now after that hardship of finding out those stats.

That doesnt even make sense. The year the Cubs were ranked 27th the Cubs spent a little over 4 million on the draft. When Ricketts took over, they spent over 11 million. Do you get the trend?

Well I'm not going to give Hendry credit for the minor league system's successes.

We all know he had his mandate to increase the value of the team, so he did that without thinking about the repercussions from below the major league level.

I see a trend of Hendry being dumb.

Hendry is put in charge, and the Cubs farm system steadily gets worse...do people not understand line graphs?

So Hendry is a failure because he couldn't keep the Cubs with a top 5 farm system consistently and Theo is doing a great job fielding teams that will consecutively lose 100 games.

Great contribution you provide here.

I'm shocked Hendry was able to have a top 5 farm system when one of his "hits" was a backup safety who played for the Colts and Packers

Funny how the only person supporting Rory is the site's biggest and most obvious troll.

The only other person I can see rushing to get their panties on to join Rory is willrust.

Not a great supporting crew you have going on there.
