Vitters to replace B-Jax in AFL per Muskat
sounds like Bjax might get called up then

What Muskat says means absolutely nothing.
Read he might be playing in Pan-Am games...Why he took off roster
Yeah he didn't start...interesting. But I doubt it's a call-up or such. I would think it's an off day, but the season is practically over so why would he.
Cubs dont like to play young players. Even in AAA
Yeah 3 games left after today. Why would they wanna rest him, that would make absolutely no sense.
I think there's 2 options:
1) He's getting the call (still don't see and no call ups won't happen to at least Tue acording to reports).
2) Getting ready for his winter league (if he is actually in one).
BJax is listed in the minor league Gameday lineup as available, but they just sac'ed the DH to have Matt Spencer pitch in a blowout and they haven't called BJax in to play OF. Weird.

I would keep Jacks. BUT, I work for the Cubs organization in AZ and have a little insight for you... He more than likely will NOT see much playing time next season. Even though he is raking AAA, the brass seems to think he is still 1 year from full-time calll up. After next year, Byrd and Sori will more than likely be gone and Jacks is the #1 man to be starting OF in 2013. Of course, that could all change depending on injuries and the slim (but hopeful) chance that they dump Soriano on someone else next year. All in all, keep him!
