I agree with water under the bridge but it was reported that Pace preferred Gase. I do like that Gase is willing to make the less conservative move when personally convinced and that he seems to no longer need approval. Fox hiring seemed to be a 1st move concession. Onward and upward.

THAT'S who hired Fox.

#Dolphins coach Adam Gase has been persistent. It's working. Sources say Jay Cutler is leaning toward coming out of retirement for #Dolphins

Ugh.. Should have stayed put, Jay. Was looking forward to seeing what he's like as a broadcaster.

This is a perfect situation for him. If he succeeds it helps clean up his image. If he fails he has the - out of retirement unconditioned late to camp excuse.

I told you that passing up millions of dollars isn't easy and I never got the impression that he truly was happy with not having a job playing football. He always avoided signing his retirement paperwork and every time he was asked about it he always made it known he had not officially retired yet.

I wish him well. He just might work out for Gase?

He's got a good RB in Ajayi, good WR's in J.Landry, D.Parker and K.Stills and they traded for Julius Thomas so good weapons and a good o-line so we'll see.
