well it was a victory today... trenches was be getting overran by the fatzis but i managed... held da line and managed to slay a few fatzi - victory.. oorah fat ppl..

idk what today was about..

age, too much of a caloric deficit, not enough protein, not enough carbs.. did too much yesterday..maybe im just really out of shape.. or a combo of everything

felt so good yesterday i pushed meself and worked hard.. was me best workout since starting.. added a sandbag to da mix.. wore out some shitty bands and added n tried to do a few sets of a few pike pushups at me weight n shape... haha they was hard as ****.. my mind remembers being fit but my body is nowhere close to it..

spent session one on the heavy bag draggin ass for 30 minutes.. so i concentrated on form.. low power and low speed..

be dragged ass on the treadmill for another 15 until something in my body got the message i aint be quitting n started burning fat or muscle.. next 15 minutes was decent

second 30 minute heavy bag session was better and won da day..

then light abs, jumping jacks n squats.. no bands cause i done fucked dem up.. hopefully the new ones arrive this week and i don't get stuck having to wait da weekend too..

n hopefully me three a day bean and rice introduction will help... mix rice.. white some meals, brown others.. perhaps brown before bed to load on carbs and white before me workout to get the instant carbs.......... i will figure out what me body is doing..

did you claim da victory today?..

so i kind of isolated the problem to either lack of carbs or calories.. me bean n rice did the trick.. added them as two meals yestaday..

black beans, chick peas, pinch of toasted sesame seeds, pinch of toasted cumin seeds. it be had more black beans than peas though but netting about 100-150g of total weight between da two.. 1 cup white rice n veg mix..

i added some sardines in the second rice sitting fer extra protein so i didnt have to have another meal of tuna or sumin and could eat some friut instead...n swapped rice for rice noodles.. will make a pot of brown rice tonight to have on hand..

some ppl dont like cumin.. its guud.. beats eating bland bland..

it helped me body get going today fer sure.. now i just need to isolate the carb/calories to find out what it be..... but im not worried about that fer now.. long way to go before i optimize mo betta.. i did add about an extra 400 calories

One thing I can never grasp is how people can go on the ketosis diet and stay in it all while actively working out and strength training. I have done carb cycling and on low days where the only carbs I ate were like a banana and a piece of ezekiel bread, I could barely get a pump. Felt horrible all day and was constantly pissed off. Don't get me wrong, people that do this will definitely lose a ton of fat. But when it gets time to get cut, I don't know how they can keep the muscle.

Big difference between cycling and keto.

It takes a few days after hitting ketosis, but your energy comes right back.

i just need me carbs.. i was trying to limit them some but i felt like i was eating away at me muscle n not recovering as well...which lead to the day off....which helped me recover some but the day after that, i felt like shit... now ive kept doubled the carbs the following two days and have felt great..

but i was hungry last night after 7 meals until i had a nice spoon of pb.. i take it i need to add more fat too.. im getting some, but probably not enough.. so i doubt i was hungry hungry cause i felt full.. but my body be like.. feed me fat boy.. and i figured it was fat, since that was the lowest thang me was getting.. and it did the job.. took that thing me body was trying to tell me away..

guess it be time to go fight some fat.. n claim me victory...

so what happens when you stop keto n stat eating carbs again.. do ye blow up? or do you have to give up carbs forever? so no real pizza for life? cauliflower crust.. blahs..

Naw, you can pop out and have carbs for a day or two crazy like then right back to keto

Cardio is ok but it also kills muscle growth so you don’t want to over do it. You can do cardio pretty much doing weights in a different style

Like ex military guy taught me this for cardio. You can actually do 3 sets of these and call it a day

20 pull-ups 20 burpees(alternate them one pull up one burpee until 20 each)
Then do 20 push-ups or 20 military press
Then do 10 pull-ups 10 burpees(again alternate)

3 sets of that sometimes has me seeing Jesus

He has another combo with dead lifts which I can’t do cause of lower back pain. But just an example of being creative can complete cardio and weight lifting without running

Yeah my brother is a great runner, can do marathons in an efficient time and all that but he doesn't run anymore. He does amateur MMA fights for fun and he said he gets all the cardio he needs with the MMA training. Lifters also get enough from just lifting.

I'm gonna try that routine you posted above to see how out of shape I am lololol. I can already tell the pull up/burpee portion is gonna suck ass.

yeah im leaning out what muscles me had left at the moment.. going to get boxer toned before the heavyweight bulking.. but idk if i want to bulk.. will see once i get where i need to be and how much muscle i actually lose.. if i still feel strong i probably wont care

finally weighed in again.. be at 280.. so 20 pounds 23 days in.

im either only going to do the treadmill today or give meself an early day off and move sundays day off sometime into nexx week.. last two days were decent intensity.. i definitely turned it up yesterday.. dropped cardio from 1 1/2 hours between the tread and heavy bag (2 to 1 bag to tread) to 1 hr and turned up the intensity.. 20 minute bag, 20 minute tread, 20 minute bag.. did an arm burnout yesterday followed by push ups and pike pushups @ dis weight and me arms are sore as **** today.. i be gots energy so maybe i do some leg calisthenics n treadmill.. or give me body all day to recover from da burnout.. idk..

progress is b being made.. im expecting nexx month weight lose numbas to be less.. a more normal numba like 8-10 pounds..

just under a pound a day, hell yeah keep it up. It'll slow down the thinner you get but that's great.

I like your motivation it’s like finding an artifact in a video game. It’s like a special power. This shit getting in shape and staying in shape isn’t easy. Have you felt like quitting?

Yeah I have been getting bored. Muscle confusion supposedly works better for muscle growth because they can't get used to a routine if you keep changing it up.

Soar throat these past few days so ill try it on Monday and post results.

flawed numbas from having a sedentary obese lifestyle to being active.. water weight, emptied gut, change of diet shock then some fat n muscle.. like those infomercials who be guarantee youll be lose 5 pouinds in 7 days or your money back.. but im not minimizing me efforts.. im eating right and putting in work.. n me man boobs gone again.. but like last time after i got tired of a lil pointy tits.. just doing enough pushups seems to take dat away..

just 8-9 mo months of cutting fat n ill be guud.. long time but itll go quick..

Yeah if you're close to 300 then it'll drop very easily. But it's still good progress. Keep it up
