You are right, I do not think we have to. However we have the luxury of plenty of cap space next year, and no better FA options that I am seeing at this time. We would only gain 6 mil cutting him. Why not draft a Mid round QB to sit behind him and learn some of his bad habits for a year or two!

McCown has a 95.2 Qb rating, Cutler has a 87.5
McCown averaging 271 yards per game, Cutler only averaging 240
McCown has 11 TD's to 4 Int's. Jay only has 8 TD's to 4 INT's
McCown completing 65%, Jay only completing 61%
McCown averaging 7.5 YPA, Jay only averaging 7
McCown on pace for 4400 yards. Jay on pace for his usual 3600
McCown sacked 22 times. Jay only sacked 9 times

As well as Jay has played, he did miss 2 wide open receivers, one a sure TD, and the other a possible one. Which, is one more miss than Robbie had in the viking game! I just can't see why the "Cutty love machine" has to throw everybody and everyone under the bus to sooth their tiny throbbing Jaybones.

I was going to point that out. Kyle Long has never been to the playoffs. He's clearly a loser and should be traded for a 6th round pick.

It's honestly mind blowing people still are knocking on cutler. Honestly mind blowing. I only see it on Facebook posts and this board, everyone else realizes the guy isn't remotely the issue.
