I'm not one to know any diets or workout plans, but in general, just burn more calories than you intake. Obviously don't eat the bad foods and such, but just know you have to work out accordingly for what you want to eat. Chances are, lean meats are good, and for workouts, just do different muscle groups each time so they have time to rest. Not sure how accurate that is, but that should be a general solution.

Right now, im just trying to burn fat, not really tone muscles, so would mixing up the workout still work? Should I just do cardio?

Yeah you could do cardio. But actually what I've heard the best way to start losing fat is to actually try to build muscle too. Something like building muscle burns more calories after the workout and cardio doesn't burn much outside of the workout. Imo you should do a little of both.

I've lost 6 lbs in a week. Cut way down on sweets (dessert, when I do have it, is typically one of the little cups of applesauce) and been eating more veggies. Also began golfing recently and working on the garden a lot. Still not really doing any weight-lifting...but would like to lose another 15-20 lbs...

The main thing is just eating better..

That will help no matter what you do exercise wise.

I lost weight by simply eating less for a month. I lost Ten pounds. I've only lost an additional 5 pounds since I started exercising in March. Have changed my diet too. However I'm assuming adding muscle will keep me from losing a lot of weight. I just want to finish losing my gut.

I gotta start eating less shit. My karate instructors are trying to get me in better shape.

My waist, stomach & thighs need some work. But, it's up to me to eat better.

lol how many times do people have to tell you you cant spot reduce fat... lower your body fat % as a whole that shit will go away if you keep going lower.

or you can just keep being a fucking Special person and hit up those crunches all day long... thats really gonna burn that stomach off.

My karate instructors told me gym memberships are a waste of money.

And all of em are in fine shape. Time for me to stop BS'ing around & take it seriously.

Last year, I wore a size large in regular shorts.

Bought two new ones today, size XL.

Fucking waist fat, thighs are really concerning me.

I haven't been to a doctor in a few years. May be time to change that.

lost about 8 lbs in the last 2-3 weeks...only trying to lose a total of 20 this summer...gotta keep it up...and that's over the 4th, where I grilled out and drank WAYYY too much beer.

Some hints that have helped me: Make a carton full of hard-boiled eggs, and have one of those for breakfast first thing in the morning...unless you're interested in a girl @ the office....

Eat your big meal @ lunch....you burn off most of that by the end of the day....

Substitute meat in your dinner if possible. Ex: I made spaghetti the other night, but instead of putting beef in the sauce, I added an entire onion, chopped...if you add other veggies (squash, peppers, Zucchini, etc) it will enhance flavors, fill you up (thanks to the carbs in the pasta) and increase your veggie intake.

Find a damn hobby. Get off the couch. CCS will forgive you. I've taken up golfing, gardening, and rec-league softball lately. just moving around after work helps.
