Ya, didn't do one Sunday because there was not much to write about, I think I finished deciding on my post-season prospects list today, full article probably Sunday for that and AzFL since I have to rewrite my college essay and do my evaluation essay over the next few days.

I mean why not keep Campana ... he's one of the fastest players in the league an the Cubs won't even get a buck for him. There's no point in giving him away for nothing, at least for one more year or even 2 when the Cub mab not contend.

Package him in a deal for something slightly more then. But in the meantime if he's cheap, and has options left so you can stash him at Iowa, I say go for it, keep him around. As soon as he hits arbitration he's a non-tender though.

Yeah I really don't get the he is not available comment. Unless maybe it was when Campana was basically playing center full time and Reed was achy and couldn't play everyday. Also not sure if that was a flat no matter what you offer we won't trade Tony Campana or we aren't interested in trading him for the nothing organizational filler guy you offered.

Yeah, I believe he'll availabe if he's a add-in if the Cubs can get an a liitle better player or another player, no doubt. Like Levine said, he'a available if the deal made sense. It's laughable to say not.

How on earth did we begin debating Campana's touchability?

They guy is a mere bench player, nothing more, he's barely worth discussing at the moment.

Yeah me either. Maybe he re-worded it wrong, hopefully for the benefit of him. Because that makes his creditbility drop even more (even tho it's at the lowest it can be).

Castellanos = Nick? Interesting. Maybe he's being groomed to take over for Delmon Young next year.

Szczur didn't make FSL Top 20 prospects, stock must have dropped big time, and it is understandable, but let's take a look at pre-season Top 100's in our lineup:

Szczur - #64
Castellanos - #45
Singleton - #34
Baez - #61
Cosart - #50

Of those, all but Szczur's stocks have risen since then, this is a very legitimate AzFL championship contender

Correct, the move had been speculated over the past few weeks since rosters were announced though.

Ya, since Baez moved up a good 40 spaces too and then Almora/Soler/Vizcaino

Castellanos was playing in the OF at the end of the minor league season some to begin with. It seems pretty clear that LF is his ticket on the roster since Cabrera and Fielder have the corner IF spots locked up for a while, and VMart is the DH for the rest of his contract. It wouldn't exactly be Delmon Young's spot though since he was the DH this year, and given his production and free agents status I think it is safe to assume he is gone.

Szczur grounded out, Pederson did the same, Castellanos singled, Singleton up
