What gives? No ones starting threads on how they rape and pillage correct?

Threads? That's what you are going by? I've only seen one thread on Mexican Gangs, and that was when they killed the Mayor. Are you talking about this board or the world in general, because there is a big difference. If you think that no one is bitching about the hate organizations home grown in the US, I just don't know what to think.

And I want to point out that even when there was a thread about Mexican gangs, it wasn't bitching, but more amazement that that stuff goes on.

You should brush up on your world history, I think. You do realize that the largest influx of immigrants form Europe came in the few years preceding, and during the first World War, right? Yeah, I'm sure life was just awesome in those countries at that time.

You are also not taking into account economic times or industrial growth. In a time where we don't have enough jobs for citizens of this country, do we really need a shitload of illegals coming over here and taking up jobs? No. Reaching with your comparison, is putting it lightly.

Yeah, we shouldn't care about a large number of illegals coming to this country and contributing to our crime problems. If anything, you just supported my argument. Why the **** should we allow all these illegals coming over the border from Mexico, when we have enough of our own problems?

I don't think your right on that at all. I know that was not Scotland, Ireland, Italy or Germany's biggest influx and those would be the 3 biggest groups from Europe here. So maybe you should take history period? And yes in fact Europe in the 30's was about as happy as America.

All three of my grandparents that came here from Europe, did so legally, and became citizens. Comparing people that are coming here to milk our system and make money, to people that were fleeing countries decimated by war, to escape hell, is hardly a good comparison to make... If all these illegals coming over from Mexico were really serious about staying here, they would care about becoming citizens, and they wouldn't break the law as their first action in their new "home". Bottom line is, they don't, and I really don't give a shit how many of them you have helped out at food depositories. One of my friends came over here from Poland when he was ten years old. His family did so legally, and his parents became citizens. There are a LOT of people that follow our rather EASY path to citizenship. And yes, it is fairly fucking easy when you compare it to other countries, and the benefits you receive from doing so. Then again, why become a citizen when you can milk our system by committing fraud and stealing from our government as an illegal, and then go back to your real home and live like a king?

Bravo! People who ignore these facts are simply not interested in the situation because apparently they are fine with it.

+1 from me.

You know... honestly, a big issue that I see with some of the illegal immigrant work is that a large majority of that money is being sent back to Mexico or whatever country they come from. It's another huge reason why we should be getting a cut somehow. They come here to make money for their families back home. So not only do we lose the job, but we lose a good chunk of money that could be used as an injection into the economy. Who knows how much it really is, but every little bit has to count. I mean for gods sake western union is still in business. And not just because a Prince in Africa has some money for you or you won the lottery in eastern Europe.

Say you have 6 million illegal workers sending as little as 10$ a week back to mexico. That's 3,120,000,000 a year that we could have had a piece of.

On top of that, you have companies like Wal-Mart and Western Union who know where their bread is buttered and they charge less to send money to Mexico than they do to send money anywhere in the USA.

Wal-mart has gotten into it big time. Lot's of commercials about their new check cashing fees being the lowest. And they'll cash anything.

By the way here is the LAPD's most wanted list:

http://www.lapdonlin...all_most_wanted

It speaks for itself.

Yea, L.A. is 50% hispanic. And it would make total sense that there most wanted would be lopsided towards Hispanics, they live in worse neighborhoods, are responsible for a large portion of the gang activity, in turn those in the gangs will commit the most gruesome/destructive crimes and become the most wanted. Those shopping on Rodeo Drive and hanging out in Hollywood aren't exactly inclined to kill people.

Look at Chicago's most wanted. Look at the impoverished neighborhoods, it speaks for itself.

I would have went a step further and said, that it still looks pretty diverse, and you can't prove how many other there are illegal just by looking at the name.

You know you are supporting our arguments with these comments right? In our opinion, keep the fucking criminals out. In your opinion: Sure they are scumbags, but they live in a poor country and deserve to be here committing crimes just like anyone else.

Bravo to you, caring about a subject so intently all you do is write about it on a hockey message board. Go alert the authorities if it upsets you.

Mexico is poor. Those countries were being invaded, persecuted, and blown up. You referred to Ireland. You don't think their near civil war and religious conflict and discrimination had anything to do with people leaving there huh? There's a reason the majority of Irish immigrants to the United States were Irish Catholics...

Alright, last time I respond to your. I like to argue with people who can argue back with well formed thoughts and present counter arguments, like Pez. Putting words in my mouth is a hilarious argument technique. When did I ever say that. If you read the posts I said if you commit a crime here then your a criminal. Living here under the watch of a government that does nothing about what is being called a crime in this thread is not a crime to me.

So conversely. What do you do outside of this message board to support your viewpoint?

I am well aware. But look at the news in Mexico, it is not a place any working class person would ever want to live.

Dude you have no fucking idea what I do, so don't make such an ass of yourself assuming things. I'll give you a hint: On Mayday, 2007, while the media was having a ton of fun with the illegals protesting, I was out on a major street corner with a sandwich board urging our government to close the borders immediately and calling out the lazy, uninterested people who sit by and pretend like our country being overrun with illegal trespassers is no big deal. I am also active in writing legislators, voting, and attending rallies. Don't be so sure about who posts on this board.

There's not really much for me to do, my viewpoint consists of not considering them criminals so what do you want me to do perform ********? I mean I hand them food cause they don't have any thats not much. I still talk to the ones I worked with, one is now a permanent citizen.

I'm sorry, was I not supposed to interpret this post as you saying you are fine with the crime because they are poor and live in poor neighborhoods? Crime is fine if you have brown or black skin? live in an impoverished neighborhood? What exactly were you trying to say other than: "look at the neighborhood, no wonder they are wanted criminals"?
